summary

While on vacation in a resort in Mexico, the Americans Jeff, his girlfriend Amy, her best friend Stacy and her boyfriend Eric befriend the German Mathias in the swimming pool. Mathias invites the group to visit the ruins of a Mayan temple with his Greek friend Dimitri in an archeological field where his brother Henrich and his girlfriend are camped eighteen kilometers far from the resort. They hire an old taxi and when they reach the spot, they are surrounded by Mayan villagers armed of revolver, rifle and bow-and-arrow that kill Dimitri and do not allow the group to leave the place. They climb a construction covered of creepers with red flowers, and remain under siege of the locals. When they hear a cell phone in the bottom of a well, Mathias decides to seek the apparatus using a rope that breaks and he has a serious accident breaking his back. Amy and Stacy go to the bottom of the mine to rescue Mathias and they find many corpses covered by the climbing plants; further, they realize that they had been lured by the plants that are vibrating with the sound of a cell phone. When they are attacked by the carnivorous creeping plants, they understand the reaction of the Mayan villagers.

Synopsis	On this particular night, Alex North really just wanted to see in his birthday with his girlfriend Mona. But instead of Mona, it is his old friend Walter, a likeable restaurant owner, who is suddenly standing in front of his door, flanked by two bodybuilders. Alex is surprised. Walter demands that Alex give him his money back and, to lend some weight to the demand, he has Alex injected with a poison which will kill him within 80 minutes. Alex will only get the antidote from Walter if he manages to settle his debts. Then all will be forgiven and forgotten. For Alex, the most turbulent night of his life begins. A race between life and death. In the process, he has a car accident and ends up being pursued by the others involved in the accident. He hasn’t had any contact for years with his brother Vincent, but it is Vincent that Alex has to convince to lend him the money he needs. And, as if that weren’t enough, the police are after him as well, and a biker gang latches onto him and his friends Lloyd and Floyd, who have come to help him. The biker gang bails up the trio and Alex is forced to watch as Lloyd, with whom the gang leader apparently has a score to settle, is shot dead. Alex is able to escape, but the bikers are quickly after him. A merciless nighttime chase through Berlin begins, but with Mona’s help, Alex manages to escape by a hair. With only few minutes remaining, Alex can clearly feel the effects of the poison. He is sick, dizzy and everything is going blurry in front of him. In Walter’s restaurant, Alex is on the verge of handing over the money. But Walter hesitates, playing for time. And then, just as Alex finally seems to be losing consciousness once and for all, comes the big surprise: a huge birthday gathering is suddenly standing in front of him. And they all sing “Happy Birthday”. Among the party guests are his brother Vincent, Lloyd and Floyd, both uninjured, Mona, the bodybuilders and the entire Harley gang. The entire evening has been a setup to teach Alex a lesson on his birthday, to make him a somewhat better human being. The injection contained nothing more than a harmless mix of stimulants… Alex, relieved and overjoyed, falls into Mona’s arms.

Plot Outline : A cruel empress, a place where men are subservient to women. The empress' reign is disturbed by a prophecy saying a boy will rise to become king, and restore the male regime. Char, a humble boy, is born to be emperor. He and his adopted brother, Leaf, perform in a traveling show run by their adopted father, Blackwood (Tony Leung). Thanks to their friend, Lao (Edison Chen), the pair receive a stone with a map engraved on it. They set out on a quest for the treasure that the map is supposed to reveal. Two lovely yet lethal female warriors, Blue and Spring, join the boys on their journey. The youngsters encounter various challenges before they meet General Lone, a master swordsman who seeks to overthrow the empire. To do so he must first duel the Lord Of Armour.

summary
In the early 1980s, Charlie Wilson is a womanizing US congressional representative from Texas who seemed to be in the minor leagues, except for the fact that he is a member of two major foreign policy and covert-ops committees. However, prodded by his major conservative supporter, Joanne Herring, Wilson learns about the plight of the people are suffering in the brutal Soviet occupation of Afghanistan. With the help of the maverick CIA agent, Gust Avrakotos, Wilson dedicates his canny political efforts to supply the Afghan mujahideen with the weapons and support to defeat the Soviet Union. However, Charlie Wilson eventually learns that while military victory can had, there are other consequences and prices to that fight that are ignored to everyone's sorrow.

A little town in the hills of Colorado will become the battleground between two of the deadliest extra-terrestrial lifeforms - the Alien and the Predator. When a Predator scout ship crash-lands in the hills outside the town, Alien facehuggers are released in the crash, and an even more evil creature - a hybrid Alien/Predator - is also released. A man & his son hunting in the forests near the crash site soon become the first victims of the facehuggers, and when a Predator receives data about the crash on his home planet, he comes to Earth. One at a time, the inhabitants of the town become targets of the Aliens and the Predator, including the local sheriff, a young female soldier recently returned from Iraq, and several teens. Though the National Guard is called in, they are unable to stop the deadly creatures, and a plan is set in motion to destroy the town with a nuclear device..

While Ben Gates is presenting new information about John Wilkes Booth and the 18 pages missing from Booth's diary, a man by the name of Mitch Wilkinson stands up and presents a missing page of John Wilkes Booth's diary. Thomas Gates, Ben's great-grandfather, is mentioned on the page. It shows that Ben's great-grandfather was a co-conspirator in Abraham Lincoln's murder. When doing more research, the conspiracy takes Ben, Abigail Chase, and Riley Poole to Buckingham Palace (which they break into). They discover a plank that has early Native American writing on it. The plank has only one symbol that Patrick Gates can identify. The symbol is Cibola (see-bowl-uh) meaning the City of Gold. In order to define the rest the have to go to Ben's mother, Patrick's divorced wife. After 32 years it brings back old arguments. After that the other clue is in the President's desk in the Oval Office in the White House (which Ben and Abigail sneak into) to discover that the clue lies in The President's Book. But in order to see the book, their choice is either get elected president or kidnap the President of the United States. Which do they choose? It's obvious. With Wilkinson close on their tail, they find the book in the Library of Congress. The conspiracy then crosses to Mount Rushmore where the clue was on the hills, but (according to the Book) President Calvin Coolidge had the faces carved in so no one can find the City of Gold. When they get there they find out that they must work with Wilkinson since he has some clues of his own. Who will claim Cibola? And will the name of Gates be known as murder?
